Grand Canyon, Arizona
South Rim Views
Late Spring - Summer, 2003

The Grand Canyon stretches for 277 miles across Northern Arizona. At the South Rim, where these photos were taken, it's a vertical mile down to the Colorado River, and 10 miles across to the North Rim. The Grand Canyon is one of the best-known scenic wonders of the world, and many photographers and other artists have spent a lifetime trying to capture its magnificence. Yet, nothing can really prepare you for standing on the Rim for the first time on one of the Canyon's best days.

I hope these digital photos will motivate you to learn more about the Grand Canyon, and especially if you've never seen it, to come experience its beauty for yourself.
