Even after eight months here, there's no taking the place for granted. The views change by the moment, the weather is fickle, and the animals just go about their business, ignoring the people who cause traffic hazards by jumping out of their cars to take pictures. As the winter comes, the number of visitors slows down except for the holidays, and on a sunny day after a snowstorm, the quiet at the viewpoints can be wonderful.
